OPEN and STRETCH
Our STRETCH sessions combine assisted stretch with myofascial techniques to restore full range of motion to the muscles and surrounding tissues.
This work aims to address the source of tension whether in the muscles, fascia or nervous system. Treatments for these different systems can vary from extremely relaxing and restorative to energizing and dynamic. This way of working has a lasting effect and makes movement feel good by improving the relationship between the tissues of the body.

MYOFASCIAL RELEASE uses pressure on specific trigger points along the fascial chains.
This solicits the nervous system to reduce tension through these long connective tissue lines that cross the body. When done regularly this can help re-pattern structural imbalances in the body. We use various tools as well as manual bodywork on the table.
ASSISTED STRETCH lets a practitioner support you to relax your muscles as you focus on relaxation.
This work is very relaxing and opening for the muscles and surrounding tissues. By creating structure and support around the positions, the work also has a calming effect, allowing the body to open more than it could without help.
MYOFASCIAL STRETCH is a technique designed to restore length and function to the fascia.
This work gets more specific with your anatomy to help correct structural imbalances and tensegrity across the joints to reduce inflammation and pain. It is the only form of stretch the address multiple body systems simultaneously to ensure the tissues are correlating properly for smooth supple movement.
BALLET BARRE uses classical ballet stretches to keep you limber and moving gracefully.
At INOCHI we are using classical ballet versus a barre exercise classes to stretch, open and integrate the whole body while isolating muscle groups.
