Get the most out of your Pilates with a personalized approach to each session. Through detailed instruction, you will be guided through functional movement that is rooted in Pilates and also influenced by a range of other modalities.
GETTING STARTED
Whether it is your first time on a reformer or you have been doing Pilates for years, all new students are offered an introductory session to learn what your deep core muscles feels like. This or the option of a 3 class intro package are discounted and designed to help you better understand the benefit of private tutoring. By the end of 3 sessions, you will know more about your body and this technique than months of group classes could provide. Learn technique and recovery methods that include assisted stretch and bodywork to bring you into your best form.
All equipment classes use the reformer, trapeze table, spine corrector and mat accessories to help you access a nuanced, detailed and personalized experience of how you can control the way your body moves.

MOVING INTO weekly PRACTICE

PRIVATE INSTRUCTION
Privates offer a chance to be fully honored and tended to. We offer a full range of practices that help each student improve both strength and flexibility. We uses stretch and release techniques in accordance to strength, and let each session unfold according to what is needed on that day. There is a strong focus on technique, muscular balance and how to control form as intensity increases.

SEMI PRIVATES ON EQUIPMENT
Enjoy continuing your practice with a friend or family member. You will still receive hands on cues in addition to stretch and release exercises according to your individtual needs. Duets offer a bit more of a paced practice that feels like a class but with more personal attention and tailoring. We suggest these for people who have a partner in mind, or they can join a waitlist if no one is available.

SMALL MAT CLASSES
There is a 4 student limit to these classes and they require sign up in advanced. You will receive high quality instruction, anatomical cueing and personal feedback. Classes are playful and can incorporate myo-fascial release/stretch techniques, as well as some influence from yoga or breathwork. Classes are done on a mat with balls, blocks and weights and rollers.
